About the Author

Margaret Cezair-Thompson was born and raised in Jamaica, West Indies. As well as the TRUE HISTORY OF PARADISE, she is also the author of the highly acclaimed, bestselling THE PIRATE'S DAUGHTER, which was a Richard and Judy Summer Read in 2008. She is a professor of English at Wellesley College, and lives in Massachusetts.
