Reader Reviews
"This was a delightful read - light and uplifting with touches of humour. It’s an unusual book and Harriet is a wonderful anti-hero; even during her arrogant and misguided moments you find yourself completely onside willing her to overcome the various obstacles she faces. I defy anyone not to have a favourite Harriet Rose meditation by the end of the book"

“I loved the characters, who seem to live in their own little world, and felt myself truly wanting everything to work out for them. The book reminded me a little of Adrian Mole, but Harriet leads a much more privileged lifestyle than him, even though she doesn't seem to be aware of how lucky she is. All in all, a worthwhile read that doesn't take much concentration and left me feeling light-hearted.”
“It was a fun, easy to read, light-hearted book - ideal for a holiday read, or something for a long journey where you want to get absorbed into a story. Thank you Diana Janney for a great read.”
“What a very refreshing read this was! I really liked it very much. A female version of Adrian Mole in a way…This was a very entertaining, enjoyable book, funny, poignant, sad, and very likeable. A real treat!!”
