Reader Reviews ‘If It Bleeds is a great read’ A reader on Amazon ‘Written by long-time crime journalist, IF IT BLEEDS is a highly enjoyable crime caper where the central character, Laurie Lane, is a long-time crime journalist. The real strengths of the book are in the dialogue and interplay between the various characters, which is often very funny, and in the musings of the central character, who (unsurprisingly) is believable, sympathetically drawn and witty.
